Library

The Library of the Faculty of Education operates as a regional library of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki after the consolidation of the Libraries of the Faculty’s two Departments.

It is housed on the 2nd floor of the “Tower” building of the Faculty of Education.

Its collection, which consists of approximately 30,000 volumes, covers a wide range of subjects with an emphasis on Education (Pre-school and Primary) and in particular on Social Sciences, Psychology, Education in general and in particular in relation to minorities, gender, people with disabilities, language, natural sciences, mathematics, art, children’s literature, etc.

The books are listed in the electronic catalogue of the open source software “Koha” and users can search for them through the OPAC-Online Public Access Catalogue of the AUTh. The catalogue is accessed through the Consolidated Search Engine of the AUTh Library on the http://search.lib.auth.gr
